Sending Equipment

CharityVision’s warehouse plays a crucial role in the fight against blindness by serving as the central hub for acquiring, sorting, and shipping eyeglass frames and lenses to our OftaVisión partners in Mexico.
New Clinic in Chihuahua

Our clinic in Chihuahua, home to one of the only retina specialists in the area, expands access to highly specialized eye care treatment that would otherwise be out of reach for many. Patients from across the region receive sight-restoring services regardless of their ability to pay full price.
Eye Screenings

The team aims to collaborate with schools and businesses to ensure that children in need receive accessible eye care. This marks the inaugural year for the program's implementation. There is an urgent demand for portable equipment to be delivered to outreach events, along with additional personnel or technicians to assist with screenings.
Key Partner: OftaVisión

Oftavisión is a network of ophthalmology clinics in Mexico providing comprehensive eye care, including exams, diagnostics, and surgical treatment, using modern technology and trained specialists. CharityVision supports their teams by providing equipment and consumables that help identify patients in need and enable social pricing for the most vulnerable.

We are teaming up with longtime friends, Oftavision, at their newest clinic in Chihuahua. With a population of one million, this city lacks a state-of-the-art facility to aid those with limited resources. We're thrilled to contribute to restoring sight and changing lives in Mexico!
Visiting Mexico

Megan Manning (Clinics Director) and Aaron Lock (Warehouse Director) recently returned from visiting one of our newest partner clinics in Chihuahua, Mexico, collaborating with Oftavisión. This clinic is the only one in the city of 3.8 million with a full-time retinologist on-site and the only social eye clinic in the area.
