In Nigeria, about 4.25 million people are blind or visually impaired. Over 84% of the causes of vision loss could have been prevented or treated. Access to eye care is a major reason why people remain blind and it is an economic burden in this country.
Our Solutions
CharityVision provides consumable surgery packs to train resident ophthalmologists and to provide discounted or no-cost procedures to those in need. This year, our partner’s goal is to perfermed 2,000 eye surgeries.
