Pakistan has one of the highest blindness rates for children in the world, and yet there is no government funding for cataract surgery. Consequently, nonprofits carry the entire burden of assisting needy patients.

-
CharityVision founded a hospital in Mansehra, Pakistan that performs 3,000 cataract surgeries each year. We also partner with other ophthalmologists who perform screenings in remote villages.
